As you can see below, I have several different versions of this design. It keeps evolving because I think it's one of the best and most important designs I've ever done. I truly believe that Obama's election to the presidency is a great step for America - a chance for this country to be reborn with new ideals and to focus on becoming the great society we were meant to be. A society that promotes and protects personal freedom tempered with respect towards one another and responsibility for one's actions. A society that the rest of the world can look to and perhaps try to emulate.
Obama became president, not because he's a black man or because he represented only African-Americans, but because, like Martin Luther King, he spoke for everyone. He's not the messiah and hopefully not the anti-Christ. He's just a man with a great mind and powerful words, and while many people have criticized him for his eloquent speaches, words have also been known to change the world by opening minds and hearts. Although I'm generally cynical of any politician, I'm looking forward to an Obama presidency because it'll be interesting to see if he can truly live up to his words and become the great president many believe he's destined to become.
